The reason this is helpful is because it side steps the Adobe RAF conversion process in Lightroom and gives you a better RAF rendering that what Adobe. So far it looks to be working well though, albeit a slow process. Iridient X-Transformer, for those who missed my initial post, is a tool from Iridient that uses their well known RAF conversion process to convert your Fujifilm RAW files into Adobe DNG files. Unfortunately I have an old version of Lightroom that does not support the X-T10 RAF files so I have to go the Iridient/ DNG route rather than direct conversion to JPEG in Lightroom. All my previous experience in RAW conversions has been with Nikon’s NEF files. I just downloaded Iridient last night and this is the first time doing Fujifilm RAF conversions to JPEG.

Thanks Vic for answering my question in detail. it generates a DNG file of universal use in any RAW editor. Iridient x transformer classic chrome profiles full This transforms the camera sensor's X-Trans or Bayer color filter information to produce a full color RGB image. FWIW I use the high pass filter in PS at minimum settings when resizing is all. Mostly I find LR processing of raws is fine so long as sharpening is done late (it should always be last anyway). There is a new option to translate the Fujifilm film style metadata into a Lightroom camera profile setting.
Some lossless compressed RAF files from early X-H2S firmware sporadically contain an invalid RAW metadata field that would would cause these files to fail to load. These are my IXT settings but I actually only use it rarely now if something shows up in the raw.
